The REAL real  issue in the Duke rape case is an attempted extortion and a hate crime. It was clearly reported in the local newspapers what the "rape victim" said when the Lacrosse players refused to pay for the "show" the girls performed. "I'm going to make those white boys pay". By filing false rape charges, it is clear she has attempted to extort money from these boys, and by the language she used, it is clear, a hate crime has occurred. 
   The community where this happened is predominately  Black and he used this case to spark racial tension and gain support in the Black community to get re-elected. He would NOT have been otherwise. The polls showed Ms. Freda Black had a commanding lead until this non-rape happened. It is time for Mr Nifong to now file charges in the direction they should have been in the first place, had he done a legitimate investigation.
